Elevator Modernization at Ann J. Ferguson Towers The last day for submission of questions shall be Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. All Addenda will be issued no later than Thursday, November 16, 2023 If any person who contemplates submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Bidding Documents, he may submit a written request for information and/or an interpretation thereof. Every request for information or interpretation of Bidding Documents or Drawings must be addressed via email to LAN (Attention: Mrs. Adriana Segura) at adriana.segura@lanassociates.com. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee (i.e., Bid Bond) in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the bid amount (with no maximum amount) in accordance with 2 CFR 200.326 The successful Bidder will be required to obtain a 100% Performance and Payment Bond from an acceptable Surety within seven (7) days of the contract award. All costs associated with obtaining the Performance and Payment Bond must be included within the Bid. No additional payment shall be made by the LHA. Prevailing wages, as determined by the United States Department of Labor, shall apply to this Project. The prevailing wage determination for the Building classification, Union County, which is in effect at the time of contract award, shall control. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days following the bid submission deadline. The LHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding. The successful Bidder will be required to execute the LHA's contract within seven (7) days of contract award.
