The Randolph County Health Department will be accepting bids for the following service: In the spring and fall of the year the systems will be cleaned and tuned. Spring cleaning will include the following: - clean all condenser coils, evaporator coils, blower wheels, and drains - inspect all wiring and connections - lubricate motors - check and adjust v-belts - check all contactors, refrigerant charges and thermostats. The fall cleaning will include the following: - clean and inspect all heat exchangers - check v-belts, safety devices, and thermostats - check gas pressure and flue drafts - clean the burners - check the temperature rise across the heat exchangers. All major repairs will need prior authorization from administration. The rate of labor, for work completed, will be a flat rate and repair parts will be discounted 10%. A work completed report and/or invoice will be given to the RCHD at time of service. Service will be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Filters will be supplied by Randolph County Health Department. Contract will be for 2 years starting December 1, 2023 through November 30, 2025. The Randolph County Health Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to negotiate changes deemed necessary.
