The City of Carlsbad Community Development Department, Planning Division is requesting a Statement of Qualifications & Proposal from firms to provide on-call, as needed planning and environmental services for private development projects, advance planning projects, and special projects for the city. The Planning Division has identified the need for qualified planning and environmental consultants to assist with a variety of projects and planning functions, including performing plan check functions, serving/assisting as project coordinator for discretionary zoning applications, preparing CEQA documents for the City, and providing peer review of CEQA documents, among a variety of other planning and environmental review tasks. The scope of work and details associated with the on-call planning services are contained in the Request for Qualifications & Proposals.
