The proposed work is officially known as Specialty Landscape and Annual Planting Bed Maintenance. The Village of Lombard is seeking a Contractor to empty trash receptacles at the downtown train station year round staring in January, maintain landscape beds and install and maintain plantings at flower beds throughout the Village of Lombard starting in Spring 2024. The duration of the contract is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, with options for 2025 and 2026. All the above, as well as other project details, are further described in the contract documents for said work as prepared by the Village of Lombard. All questions concerning the bid document or specifications must be submitted in writing to Eric Hendrickson, Forestry and Urban Landscaping Supervisor (hendricksone@villageoflombard.org) on or before October 30, 2023. The Village reserves the right to defer the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days after the date bids are received, and accept or reject any or all proposals, and waive technicalities. Landscaping Supervisor (hendricksone@villageoflombard.org) on or before October 30, 2023. A written response will then be provided to all known bidders and made available to the public by posting to the Village website .Any questions submitted after that date will not be answered. Please include your email address when picking up a bid packet in case any addenda is issued.
