Work consists of furnishing personnel, equipment, and materials for Cary Symphony Lake Dredging Project, 8051 Regency Parkway. Pay items include but not limited to Erosion and Sedimentaiton Control, Clearing, Control of Water, Removal of Sediment at an offsite Cary South Water Reclamation Facility (4900 West Lake Road), Inspection of Gate Valve and Site Restoration. We estimate 6,500 dry tons of sediment to be removed and hauled. Work under this contract consists of furnishing personnel, equipment, and materials for Cary's Symphony Lake Dredging Project, 8051 Regency Parkway. This project will consist of various pay items which includes but is not limited to Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Clearing, Control of Water, Removal of Sediment, Dewatering and Disposal of the Sediment at an offsite Cary South Water Reclamation Facility, 4900 West Lake Road, Inspection of the Gate Valve, and both Sites Restoration. We estimate approximately 6,500 dry tons of sediment to be removed from Symphony Lake and hauled to South Cary Water Reclamation Facility Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Town of Cary for an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid; or in lieu of the Bid Bond, the bidder may offer the bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, or a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC. The bid bond must be executed by a corporate surety licensed in North Carolina. The bid deposit may be held for a period of sixty (60) days pending award of the contract. Notification of award of contract shall be evidence of intent to contract and shall extend time for holding the contractor's bid surety for a time mutually agreed between the Town of Cary and the bidder The Town of Cary reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Value: $1,000,000 to $3,000,000 A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Cary, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
