Description of Work: This is a prevailing wage project. Extend 25kV conductors to existing vault and switch PMS 25-19 at the southeast corner of the building. Purchase a new switch. A. The work of the contract involves but is not limited to the installation of the following. 1. Demolition of medium voltage cable. 2. Demolition of above ground raceway systems. 3. Demolition of existing pad mount 25kV switch. 4. Furnish and install contractor furnished medium voltage conductors in EXISTING raceway systems. 5. Termination & splices of medium voltage conductors. 6. Electrical Systems testing and commissioning. B. Contractor shall at all times conduct his/her operations as to insure the least inconvenience to the general public and the Universities business. 1. Shutdowns of power shall be done on Saturdays. Contractor is responsible for overtime pay. C. Sequencing of the work must be completed according to the Sequence of Anticipated Construction Phasing UNR Project#: #24MNC02714 Labor Commissioner #: WA-2024-056 SPWD Project #24-B009 Estimated Cost Range: $125,500 to $160,500 Liquidated Damages: $500/day Nevada Electrical Contractors License and provide documentation of certifications for all electricians performing 25kV terminations. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
