The scope of work will also include a life safety review for notification devices in the existing building and to furnish and install additional notification devices as needed. The building is at the Van Buren Township Hall which includes the Township's administrative offices and the Township's Police Department. The scope of work will not include an addition that is under construction as the fire alarm system for the addition is covered under a separate contract. The contractor will be responsible for providing all bonds, permits and required design documents. The contractor will also be responsible to repair and restore any and all wall, ceiling, or other damage associated with any installations and will return those damaged areas to good condition. The Township Hall/Police Department does not have any initiating devices and also does not have an existing fire suppression system. It does have some notification devices tied to an existing panel.
