The total estimated construction cost for the base bid Work for the Project for which the City is soliciting bids at this time is a Base Bid of $2,281,000.00 COMPLETION DATE: OCTOBER 1, 2024 Date for Substantial Completion. Each successful Bidder shall have its Work on the Project Substantially Complete (as Substantial Completion is defined in the Contract Documents)as follows: September 15, 2024 This Project is Heavy construction with an estimated cost Base Bid of $2,281,000.00, and the Bidder is required to comply with all applicable Ohio Prevailing Wage and labor laws for this Project. Bidders shall submit a list of available equipment, and labor shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce for Lorain County. Bids must be accompanied by Certified Check or Cashiers Check or Letter of Credit equals to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or a bond for the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond properly secured. Should any bid be rejected, such instrument will be forthwith returned upon proper execution of a contract. Cash deposits will not be accepted. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin.
