Contact: Under the terms of this bid, the bidder shall be capable of supplying Jefferson Parish, with the specified quantities, both self-hauled and delivered for a period of twelve (12) months. The response time for both delivery and availability for pick-up and self-hauled shall be (24) hours. Quantities listed are for bid purposes only and are not to be construed as actual quantities to be purchased over the contract period. All bids must propose furnishing a product which equals or exceeds the specifications. Material which is found to be substandard as specified herein will be picked up by the contractor and replaced in kind at no cost to the Parish. Technical The limestone requested herein is to be used for the purpose of drainage applications, clean and without any limestone powder, according to the following: #1 Limestone Sieve Size Percent Passing 4 inch 100-100 percent 3 1/2 inch 90-100 2 1/2 inch 25-60 1 1/2 inch 0-15 3/4 inch 0-5 Pan A bid bond will be required with bid submission in the amount of 5% of the total bid, unless otherwise stated in the bid specifications. All sureties must be in original format (no copies) When submitting a bid online, vendors must submit an electronic bid bond through the respective online clearinghouse bond management system(s) as indicated in the electronic bid solicitation on Central Auction House. No scanned paper copies of any bid bond will be accepted as part of the electronic bid submission.
