Contract requires the contractor to remove sediment from a specified dredge prism as outlined in the plans specifications for two seasons of bi-annual maintenance dredging. Contractor will be required to provide water quality monitoring during operations and will be required to conform to all environmental permits issued for the project. The award will take into consideration the lowest total base bid Price to provide the services specified along with qualifications and experience of the bidder and the Ports budget capability. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by deposit in cash certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. In accordance with RCW 42.56.100 and Port of Grays Harbor Resolution 2973, the Port makes the following rule: Public Bid Guidelines require that the Port of Grays Harbor maintain the integrity of official bid documents sets, provide swift response when incorporating addenda changes, and communicate in a singular, fair, and equitable manner to registered, bidders. This process would interfere with the Port's obligations to maintain the integrity of the bid records if the Port were required, to relinquish control over the bid documents during the bidding period.
