Reference Number 0000333223 The Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA), a public benefit corporation based in Oakdale, seeks proposals for Construction Management Services - Construction Maintenance Building & Oakdale Campus Modifications. The Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms, to enter and conduct construction management services for the Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA) located at 4060 Sunrise Highway in Oakdale, NY 11769. The SCWA's overall project consists of the construction of a new single-story Construction Maintenance (CM) office building. new pre-engineered garage, new fuel pump station, new truck shelter(s) and demolition of an existing building, fuel pump station, garages, and truck shelter. This includes all related work including creation of a new employee parking lot, creation of a campus quad area in between the new building and existing administration building inclusive of parking and outdoor garden area. This RFP is for services related to construction management of the entire project which include consulting during the Architectural and Engineering Design phase, project estimation and budgeting following completion of the Architectural & Engineering Design Phase, creation of the construction scheduling, construction phasing plans, to represent the SCWA's interests during the bidding and evaluation of bids for general contractors, and to lead all activities during the construction phase and close-out phase of the project. The new Construction Maintenance building is to include office spaces, cafeteria/kitchen, conference rooms, locker room, shape-up/training center, and lobby. The new plan will make a more cohesive campus atmosphere separating administrative spaces from operational spaces.
