Reference Number 0000333318 The City of Rome, NY is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for the design and construction bid documents to improve the accessibility and quality of the Muck Road boat launch. The goal of the Muck Road Boat Launch Design project is to develop viable construction documents for site improvements to an existing public facility that currently includes a public boat launch to the Erie Canal. The objective of this redesign project is to meet the changing demands of the community and include accessibility improvements, green infrastructure designs, and viable outdoor recreation space. The Muck Road boat launch design will include: -ADA compliance - Parking and driveways - Green infrastructure - Walkways and bikeways - Fishing platforms - Boat launch ramp - Lighting and signage - Buildings The selected consultant will conduct site reconnaissance visits, develop draft designs, develop construction documents (including stormwater management, lighting and electrical plans, and technical specifications), facilitate and attend up to 2 public engagement meetings, and apply for and acquire all required permitting and regulatory approvals for the project.
