Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 1 addendum issued for this project. ** The Newfoundland & Labrador English School District invites tenders for the Supply and Installation of Gym Flooring at Amalgamated Academy in Bay Roberts, NL. SUPPLY AND INSTALL NEW FLOOR - GYMNASIUM Remove existing base and replace with new standard black four (4) inch vinyl base. Vinyl base is to be installed as per the manufacturer's instructions. Remove existing sheet sports flooring and discard from site. Prepare and level the sub-floors as per the attached master specifications (NLESD-23-234- Master Specifications.pdf) and all requirements of the flooring manufacturer. In the case of conflict in the in the installation procedure between the master specifications and the requirements of the flooring manufacturer, precedence will be given to the manufacturer' guidelines, subject to prior approval of the owner. Floor sockets are to be level with the new sports floor. Please note that it is the responsibility of the contractor to supply any required spacers and/or perform whatever machine work required to level the sockets with the floor. This includes, but is not limited to grinding or adding spacers. The contractor must ensure that upon completion, the sockets must be of acceptable appearance and functionality.
