Bids are for TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE within Ephrata Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Contractor must perform all work necessary to maintain the Boroughs traffic signal Continued Next Column systems completely and satisfactorily as required and more fully described under Contract: Bid #23-9 Traffic Signal Systems Maintenance. A certified check payable to the Borough of Ephrata or a bid bond executed by the bidder and a Surety company approved by the Borough in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid to guarantee the bidders entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to comply with any requirements as set forth by the Borough or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, except as permitted by law. The Borough of Ephrata reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to re-advertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informality, irregularity, mistake, error, or omission in any bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interests of the Borough of Ephrata. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. Bidders must comply with all state anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an executed anti-collusion affidavit with their bid.
