The Contractor's services shall include new construction for the public convenience areas located at the Beulah Facility and the Golden Hill Facility. At the Beulah Facility, the primary area anticipated for construction is approximately 4.75 acres in size. Construction includes: earthwork, subgrade preparation, improvements to existing roadways, construction of a new tire area access roadway, demolition of the existing office building and scale house, installation of a gasoline recycle facility, upgrades to the tire management area, construction of a new administrative building, construction of a new scale house, construction of a maintenance building, installation of a wash pad and wash water management system, installation of a fueling station and dispensing system, and construction of various new site utility systems. At the Golden Hill Facility, the primary area anticipated for construction is less than 5,000 square feet. Construction includes installation of a gasoline recycle facility. The project shall be completed within 180 calendar days after the start of work; start of work shall begin within seven (7) calendar days after Notice to Proceed is provided by Dorchester County. This Project will be constructed under the provisions of the Bid and Contract Documents for Convenience Area Improvements: Beulah and Golden Hill Facilities, Dorchester County, Maryland. The deadline for questions regarding the project documents will be the close of business on 8 November 2023.
