Reference Number 00003770330 The TSL contains a requirement that following completion of primary forest activities, TSL holders will submit to the Timber Sales Manager a conformance certificate, signed by a Forest Professional, that confirms the completed activities are consistent with the applicable Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) results and strategies. As such, the successful bidder will be required to submit a conformance certificate that confirms that primary forest activities conducted under this TSL are consistent with the applicable FSP commitments. A sample of the conformance certificate and associated BC Timber Sales Advisory Bulletin have been included as attachments to this Notice. The deadline for receiving questions is 3:00 pm on November 1, 2023. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by 3:00 pm on November 3, 2023. Geographic Location: Little River Total Estimated Timber Sale Volume: 8,605 m3, more or less • Estimated Net Cruise Volume: 8,605 m3, more or less Estimated Area: 32.9 ha. Estimated Species: Spruce (SP) 5,435 m³ (63%), Balsam (BA) 2,673 m³ (31%), Lodgepole pine (LO) 323 m³ (4%), Western Red Cedar 139 m³ (2%), Hemlock (HE) 31 m³ and Douglas-fir (FI) 4 m³, more or less. The preceding volume and species estimates are based on samples from a Full Cruise. Please see tender package for additional detail. Bidders are strongly advised to conduct a thorough field review of the licence area to verify timber volume and grade estimates. Licence Term: 2 years. Upset Stumpage Rate: $34.86/m³. The upset stumpage rate was determined in accordance with the InteriorAppraisal Manual and applicable to coniferous sawlog grades.
