Reference Number 00003770338 The TSL contains a requirement that following completion of primary forest activities, TSL holders will submit to the Timber Sales Manager a conformance certificate, signed by a Forest Professional, that confirms the completed activities are consistent with the applicable Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) results and strategies. As such, the successful bidder will be required to submit a conformance certificate that confirms that primary forest activities conducted under this TSL are consistent with the applicable FSP commitments. A sample of the conformance certificate and associated BC Timber Sales Advisory Bulletin have been included as attachments to this Notice. Take notice that, pursuant to Section 20 of the Forest Act, Timber Sale Licence TA1915 is being offered for sale by the BC Timber Sales Cariboo-Chilcotin Business Area. Tenders will only be accepted from individuals or corporations registered as a BC Timber Sales enterprise in Category 1 and 2 under the BC Timber Sales Regulation. The deadline for receiving questions is 3:00 p.m. on November 10, 2023. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by 3:00 p.m. on November 15, 2023. Geographic Location: Hen Ingram Lake Total Estimated Timber Sale Volume: 71,950 m3, more or less 1 Estimated Net Cruise Volume: 70,449 m3, more or less 2 Estimated Road Permit Volume external to the block/s: 1,501 m3, more or less Estimated Area: 159.1 ha. Estimated Species: Douglas Fir (FI) 27,740 m³ (39%), Western Red Cedar (CE) 18,633 m³ (26%), Spruce (SP) 16,168 m³ (22%), Hemlock (HE) 4,187 m³ (6%), Balsam (BA) 3,421 m³ (5%), Lodgepole Pine (LO) 1,362 m³ (2%), Aspen (AT) 203 m³ (46%), Cottonwood (CO) 203 m³ (46%), Birch (BI) 33 m³ (8%), more or less. The preceding volume and species estimates are based on samples from a Full Cruise. Please see tender package for additional detail.
