For the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of ABNR Building Modifications. Message and data rates may apply. Major components of the Work include: A. Installation of a new ceiling assembly installed onto the existing structure which will include aluminum liner panel, a vapor barrier, and fiberglass batt insulation to be installed above the ceiling. B. Removal and reinstallation of electrical and mechanical equipment on/attached to ceiling. C. Enclosure of the attic space in the existing building (ABNR Building). D. Modifications of the building to provide adequate ventilation to the newly created attic space. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Use of American Iron and Steel: The Contract requires the use of American Iron and Steel products. Iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. Contractor will be required to provide Owner documentation of the use of American Iron and Steel. Contractors on the Project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards, and conditions of employment to be observed, as determined by the Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates, under the Contract. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract.
