Contractors are anticipated to provide the services for the permitting, inspection scheduling, & construction of a new Town Green Shade Structure. There are two existing shade structures (40' x 25') and this new one will be smaller (25' x 20'), but in the same area. This new shade structure has been designed and that design document is included within the RFP as well as shop drawings and a picture of the existing structures, and the proposed location for the new structure. Actual location will be determined in the field. The city prefers all of the materials for the new structure to match the materials on the two existing structure as close as possible in color and form. Bidders are required to furnish a Bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid amount. Bidders offering alternative Bids shall provide a guaranty for the largest total Bid amount. At the option of the Bidder, the bid requirement may be met with a certified check payable to the order of the City or a bid in the form attached (Exhibit A). Questions, requests for clarification or interpretation of any section within this RFP must be addressed by e-mail to syurman@peachtreecornersga.gov on or before 11/7/23. Each inquiry must provide clear reference to the section, page, and item in question. Questions received after the deadline may not be considered. The City will provide by 11/13/23 a response to all questions received by the above noted deadline. The City's response will be by posting on the City's website. Answers to e-mail questions will be posted as soon after they are received as possible with every effort made to post responses no later than the day after questions are received. The City reserves the right to select or reject any individual proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any Bidder who does not satisfy the City as to his ability to successfully perform the Work, previous pre-qualification notwithstanding.
