The City of Festus, Missouri, (City) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from construction firms with expertise in the design-build of public splash pads and water park projects in the State of Missouri. Applicants, at a minimum, must be capable of providing certain design/build services, which comply with all applicable local, State and Federal regulations governing construction of municipal pools, including all associated agency(s) permitting. A general summary of the proposed project includes the design and construction of a zero-depth entry splashpad as approved by applicable local, State and Federal agencies and including all permits for construction, operation, etc. The proposed splash pad would be roughly 80' in diameter including a surrounding 10' apron. Equipment would include, but is not limited to, automated operation, including disinfection, along with certain structures and play features. This is intended to be a full turnkey operation upon completion. Consideration must be given to accessing a proposed all-access playground to be built adjacent to the Splash Pad/Water Park.
