The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to complete the Interior/Exterior Painting at Fire Station #74 located at 11500 Live Oaks Avenue, Fontana California 92337. Work hours are 07:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday. SCOPE OF WORK Please note that each Fire Station will be Bid separately and awarded independent of the other to the lowest qualified Bidder. Paint Project may be awarded to different contractors. Please format Bid Proposal to reflect Interior Preparation, Exterior Preparation, Areas to be Painted, and Paint Material as listed below. A) Interior Preparation 1. Remove hardware and hardware accessories, plates, light fixtures, and items in place that are not to be painted, or provide protection such as taping, prior to surface preparation and painting. Masking and protect all floors and furniture 2. Sanding as needed 3. Patch all holes & cracks in all applicable areas 4. Patching as needed 5. Caulking as needed 6. Repair imperfections 7. Primer B) Exterior Preparation 1. Power wash (2500 psi) and surface prep exterior structures 2. Scraping off flaky and peeling paint on all applicable areas 3. Sanding as needed 4. Patch all holes & cracks in all applicable areas 5. Spot texture as needed 6. Prime all raw or rusted iron using inhibitive primer 7. Primer on all applicable areas 8. Apply caulking around doors, windows frames where metal frames meet CMU, stucco, etc. in all applicable areas as needed. C) Areas To Be Painted 1. Bay doors (interior/exterior) 2. Single entry doors (interior/exterior) 3. Double entry doors (interior/exterior) 4. Doors (interior/exterior) 5. Window frames (interior/exterior) 6. Handrails 7. Exterior lighting cage 8. Wrought iron gate with metal screen 9. Driveway iron gate with metal screen 10. Structural steel beams or columns around interior and exterior building structure and in bay area 11. Lettering and/or numbers 12. Eaves 13. Fascia boards 14. Corrugated doors 15. Soffit D) Paint Materials 1. Epoxy Based Primer (polyurethane, water base, or acrylic latex primer) 2. Two (2) coats of paint in all applicable areas of scope of work 3. List paint brand(s).
