The work of improvement consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of the construction of a monument at an existing traffic circle/water fountain incorporating a 18' long beam from the World Trade Center debris. Project will include the construction of landscape improvements, steel structures, lighting, irrigation, electrical, drainage, restoring all improvements (paving, striping, sidewalk, landscape, etc.) to pre-construction conditions and all work required as indicated on the project plans for the 9/11 Memorial Monument Project located at the intersection of Seville Avenue and Wheeler Way/Library Way, Fontana, CA 92335 Project Duration 80 working days from notice to proceed License Requirements Prime contractor shall possess a Class "A" contractor's license. Subcontractors shall possess a Class A contractors license or a combination of Class C specialty license(s) sufficient to perform the work. Liquidated Damages $1,500 per calendar day is the minimum value of the costs and actual damage caused by the failure of the Contractor to complete the Work within the allotted time.
