The Department of Water Resources (DWR), Division of Flood of Management, invites qualified firms with extensive background in engineering, environmental, program management and support services to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). The Contractor will provide expert technical advice and consultation on an as-needed and as-directed basis to advance implementation of projects consistent with the Central Valley Flood Protection Plan to improve flood management systems throughout California, including improving floodplain functions and ecosystem habitat. Questions regarding services to be performed will not be answered by telephone. Questions regarding services to be performed must be submitted in writing, and transmitted by U.S. Mail, hand delivery, or e-mail to Cody Goldthrite at the following addresses or no later than 10:00AM Friday, October 27, 2023. The Department reserves the right to cancel or modify this RFQ up to the date and time the SOQ is due and to waive non-material defects with any of the SOQs. Additionally, the Department is not responsible for any preparation costs incurred by parties submitting a SOQ. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Responses, if appropriate, will be in writing via Addendum on or before Wednesday, November 8, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Candidates are strongly encouraged to provide certification of Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) status. DVBE certification may be obtained from the Department of General Services, Office of Small Business and DVBE Services (OSDS), and should be attached to the SOQ if DVBE status is claimed.
