Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the construction of the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades for the Grand Junction VA Medical Center (VAMC) at the Craig Telehealth VA Clinic, 1111 W Victory Way Suite 116, Craig, CO 81625 and Moab Telehealth VA Clinic, 702 S Main St Ste 5B, Moab, UT 84532-2943. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Grand Junction VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking a general contractor to facilitate an EHRM construction project at the Moab Telehealth VA Clinic in Moab, Utah and the Craig Telehealth VA Clinic in Craig, Colorado. Both sites will upgrade the facility infrastructure telecommunication rooms 104 at the Moab Clinic and 012 at the Craig Clinic to support the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system in accordance with VA OEHRM Site Infrastructure Requirements (provided by VHA). Both facilities will require updated HVAC components including but limited to: mini split systems and associated ductwork, piping and electrical. Physical security improvements have also been included with specific component requirements. A replacement UPS is required for the Moab site only. The physical access control system must align with the existing JCI framework used at the Grand Junction VAMC. Contractor is to ensure construction meets the ISTS requirements and is in full compliance with the latest edition VA Design Standards and other VA Operations Manuals. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in mid-November 2023. The period of is approximately 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
