Request for Qualifications (RFQ 24002C) Design-Build Services for the Lowell Elementary School Replacement project. Instructions to Respondents Project Information: The Tacoma School District is requesting qualifications from firms interested in providing Design/Build (D/B) services related to the Lowell Elementary School (LES) Replacement project. The alternate Public Works contracting procedure authorized in RCW 39.10.300 through 39.10.330 will be utilized for this project. This project will utilize the Progressive Design/Build delivery method. Firms with previous design/build experience or experience using a similar alternative construction delivery format are encouraged to apply. During the project, the Design/Builder will receive direction from designated representatives in the Tacoma Public Schools (TPS) Planning & Construction Office and will work collaboratively as a member of a team to achieve project objectives. Available beginning October 18, 2023 In 2004 a 3,750sf Covered Play structure was constructed to the south of the Auditorium. The new LES is anticipated to be approximately 50,000sf and designed to house approximately 500 students. The design and construction budget for this project is approximately $33,740,000 TPS Networking Event October 25, 2023, 5:30pm (PST) October 25, 2023, 6:30pm (PST)
