The Scope of Work for Finley River Lift Station and Force Main Improvements include approximatlety 21,500 lineal feet of 18-inch diameter SDR 21 Class 200 PVC Sewer Force Main, 93 lineal feet of 12-inch diameter SDR 21 Class 200 PVC Sanitary Sewer Force Main, 500 lineal feet of 12-inch diameter SDR 21 Class 200 PVC Gravity Sewer, 144 lineal feet 18-inch diameter SDR 26 PVC Sanitary Gravity Main, 44 lineal feet of 18-diameter Ductile Iron Sanitary Gravity Main, Cast-in-Place Emergency Storage, Earth Berm Equilization Basin, 2,000 gpm Tri-plex Lift Station, Asphalt Access road, and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Ozark Anticipates Issuing Notice to Proceed in December 2023. The Wage Rates Applicable to This Project Have Been Predetermined as Required by Law and Are Set Forth in This Specification. When Federal Wage Rates Are Applicable and Included, This Contract is Subject to the "work Hours Act of 1962," (P.l. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and Implementing Regulations. Nondiscrimination in Employment: Bidders on This Work Will Be Required to Comply With the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for Bidders and Contractors Under This Order Are Explained in the Specifications. Effective January 1, 2009, and Pursuant to Rsmo 285.530 (1), No Business Entity or Employer Shall Knowingly Employ, Hire for Employment, or Continue to Employ an Unauthorized Alien to Perform Work Within the State of Missouri. the Successful Bidder Must Submit a Sworn Affidavit and Documentation Affirming the Business Entity's Enrollment and Participation in the Federal Work Authorization Program and That All of Its Employees Working for the Contracted Services Are Not Illegal Immigrants. Upon Signing the Contract, the Successful Contractor and Any Subcontractor Performing the Work Shall Provide a Ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Osha) Construction Safety Program for Their on-site Employees. The City of Ozark Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Ensure That in Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award. The Owner Intends to Award the Contract to the Most Responsive, Responsible Bidder Submitting the Lowest Bid. the Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
