Seaview Avenue Storm Drain Inlet Installation At the Intersection of Seaview Avenue and Madison Avenue (Private Street) The project consists of providing and implementing a traffic control plan; providing construction area signs; providing and implementing water pollution control plan; clearing and grubbing; furnishing and applying water; construction of storm drain drop inlet; installation of 12" O RCP; cold plane existing asphalt concrete pavement; installation of 2" asphalt concrete overlay; and cleaning of the site at the end of the job Submit bid questions as described in the Special Notices that accompany the Special Provisions. Questions not submitted 5 days before bid opening will not be considered for response or treated as bid protests LICENSE REQUIREMENT: The Contractor must have a Class A license at the time of bid opening. Licensing must be maintained throughout the Contract duration. Include a bidder's security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid. Alameda County strongly encourages the participation of disadvantaged/minority/women owned businesses in public works projects and the hiring of apprentices who reside within the County WAGES: The Contractor and all subcontractors must pay not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to all workers. Copies of the required prevailing rates are on file at the Agency location where bids are due.. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any or all items of such bids ALLOTTED TIME FOR COMPLETION: 15 working days.
