Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation of Lance Drive, Martin Road & Easthaven Subdivision project. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Project includes but is not limited to the installation of approximately 23,000 linear feet of cured in-place sanitary sewer pipe, point repairs as needed, miscellaneous rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes, and all other associated work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The Contract Time is One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter. Interpretations or clarifications will be issued by Addenda mailed or emailed to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Only answers to questions by formal written addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
