This project is to provide all labor, material, and equipment required to modernize the elevator in the parking structure known as 2nd/El Camino Garage The estimated construction cost of this project is $700,000.00 Overview - 2nd /El Camino Garage The parking structure was originally built in 1948 and has received several renovations over the years. It is a six-level cast-in-place concrete and concrete block structure with post-tensioned slabs, beams and girders. The garage is located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and El Camino Real in the City of San Mateo, California. There is a vehicle entrance to the garage from both 2nd Avenue and El Camino Real. The current elevator controls were installed in 1991 and serves five floors. Overview - Central Garage The parking structure was originally built in 1980 and has also received several renovations over the years. It consists of two different construction types which span across three city blocks. Street level entrances are located on San Mateo Drive, Ellsworth Avenue, and South B Street between Third and Fourth avenues. Upper level entrances are located on San Mateo Drive between Third and Fourth avenues and on Fourth Avenue between Ellsworth Avenue and South B Street. The elevator controls at Central Parking Garage was installed in 1999 and serves four floors.
