The work generally includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to install traffic signals, signal control equipment, pedestrian control equipment, loop detectors, additional signing and stripped need for signals and pedestrians, and any other work identified on the improvement plans. The Contract time is one hundred eighty 180 CALENDAR DAYS. Any work completed after the contract time is subject to liquidated damages for delayed completion at a rate of $1,000 per day. Contractor shall mobilize and start underground work on November 1, 2023 or within three (3) days from contract signing, whichever is later. Contractor shall install pre-ordered street light pole within forty-five (45) days upon delivery by supplier. BID SECURITY: A bid security must be provided with each bid. Bid security must be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid for bid and must be cash, a certified check or cashier's check drawn to the order of Woodside, or a Bidder's Bond executed by a surety satisfactory to Woodside on the form provided in the Proposal section of these Contract Documents. BUSINESS LICENSE: The Bidder to whom an award is made must comply with all of the requirements of the City of Rancho Cordova License Ordinance, where applicable, prior to beginning Work under this Contract and at all times during the term of this Contract.
