Reference Number 0000333259 This is a Notification of an Upcoming Opportunity at DEN. A formal solicitation shall be posted for a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) to select a qualified contractor for the Calawba Court Repurposing at Denver International Airport (DEN). The existing area is a cul-de-sac that is connected to 78th Ave, running south. The project proposes to convert the area into a space for overflow parking, to be utilized by rental car companies operating at the airport. Rental car companies operating at the airport have outgrown current leaseholds or will reach capacity within the next five years. Expanding parking areas will temporarily reduce capacity issues. The scope of work will include, but is not limited to; demolition, earthwork and grading, stormwater drainage conveyance, erosion control and revegetation, asphalt paving, chain link fence, lighting and electrical infrastructure, and existing roadway/pavement tie-ins. The Division of Small Business Opportunity Office has assigned a 19% MWBE Goal for this project. The estimated project cost range is $3,000,000 to $4,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
