he project delivery method for construction will be CM at Risk with a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The project involves the new construction of a 16,405 SF Natatorium (pool building). The Town of East Longmeadow is seeking statements of qualifications from interested and qualified firms. The natatorium will be an independent structure that will be connected to the new high school building via a secure vestibule. The natatorium will feature a 6-lane swimming pool with locker rooms, mechanical rooms, restrooms, a storage room, and an athletic office. The natatorium building will be constructed simultaneously with the new High School but will have no contractual connection to the school project and will be funded 100% by the Town of East Longmeadow. PLEASE NOTE: Firms interested in this Project must submit an RFQ Interest Form with a copy of your firm's DCAM Certificate to Skanska USA Building by email, no later than Nov. 1, 2023. The RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Ch. 149A. The Prequalification Committee will evaluate Statements of Qualification (SOQ) in accordance with the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFQ and will select those firms it deems qualified. Only those firms deemed qualified will be invited to submit a Proposal in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP) that will be issued in the second phase of the procurement. Firms interested in this Project must submit an RFQ Interest Form to Skanska USA Building by email no later than November 1st. It is anticipated that the CM will be under contract during DD and CD development. Question Deadline 11/06/2023 at 4:30 PM ET
