Reference Number 0000248902 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/11/06 02:00:00 PM MST The City is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to provide transfer and disposal services for waste and recycling containers at the Citys Recycle Depot and Transfer Site. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of 3 years, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 2 years in 1 year increments. Site Visit / Pre-Bid Meeting Proponents are free to visit either site but there will be no official site visit. Airdrie Recycle Depot operating hours are Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 5pm. Airdrie Recycle Depot is located at 21 East Lake Hill NE, Airdrie Airdrie Transfer Site is located at: 271244 RGE RD 20, Rocky View County AB Airdrie Transfer Site hours are as follows: Regular Hours - Monday to Saturday 8am - 4pm Extended Summer Hours - Thursdays until 8pm (May through September). General Liability insurance policy of not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence and $5,000,000 in the aggregate amount. The City must be added as additional insured. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
