The construction of +- 2.33 miles of patching leveling and resurfacing including +- 718 tons of leveling Superpave, +- 2,651 tons of 9.5mm Superpave, +- 4,172 SY of 4 thick concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, +-10,022 SY of variable milling, +- striping, and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. The City of McRae-Helena, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of McRae-Helena prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of McRaeHelena for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. Bid shall be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications which are on file and may be reviewed at the office of the Mayor and the office of Hofstadter and Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 4571 Arkwright Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed.
