The amount of the Liquidated Damages for this project shall be assessed in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day. The Maintenance Bond will become effective following the acceptance of the project by the Trust and the City Council. Prior to commencing Work, the Contractor shall have a continuous color audio-video recording, recorded digitally on DVD, and made of the entire project in a manner that logically follows the entire project path in a continuous manner. The Contractor shall have a color audio-video recording, recorded digitally on DVD, made of the entire project at completion. These recordings will serve as a record of pre-construction and final conditions. Contractor must submit two (2) copies, one (1) copy to the project Engineer and one (1) copy to Inspection Services for these phases of Audio-Video recording. SCOPE: The Work herein contemplated consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary and required for the complete installation of mains and appurtenances. This will include, but not limited to the following major items and appurtenances. (1) Cut and Plug Existing Mains (2) Right-of-Way Restoration and Cleanup (3) Provide "As-Built" Plans with GPS As Built Survey (4) Cut and Abandon Existing Mains This Time of Completion Report form shall be used in determining the number of calendar days charged on the Project, timely completion of the job, and assessment of liquidated damages in the event the Project is not completed on time. Bid Security in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check or a Bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid or of an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall also be submitted with the bid. Contractor shall be pre-qualified in accordance with City of Oklahoma City Ordinance No. 26,614 in the area of "Wastewater Contractor Pipeline "B"" in order to bid on this project. The contract period shall be One Hundred Fifty (150) Calendar Days counted from the start date specified in the work order. The Trust shall have the right to reject any or all Bids.
