The current construction cost estimate is $1.2mm The Authority owns and operates the Viking Square apartment community, located at 12203-12217 W 58 th Ave Arvada, CO, which is a multifamily affordable housing community. Viking Square has a total of 55 units among 4 floors, within 2 detached buildings. DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE/INCLUSIONS This section summarizes the scope of work under this RFP ("Scope of Work"), which is described in greater detail below and in the Contract Documents and Exhibits. The Scope of Work shall include the design, furnishing and installation of a variety of upgrades, which include: Exterior wooden Stairs: Remove and replace existng wooden stair tower 'joining' the 2 residenal buildings (Atachments A & A1.) with a metal prefabricated structure. FRH will provide engineering drawings, but "Awardees' Architect will be responsible for design and code compliance. Stair tower provides access to 4 apartments with 2 ground floor units also being impacted by construction and design of new structures. Plans will need to consider the possibility that the units will be occupied at the me of construction and temporary stairs and scaffolding could be required. Additionally, FRH wants to incorporate a roof access hatch into the design stair tower
