Ellis Don Civil Ltd is the Construction Manager for the Ontario Place Site Servicing Renewal Project (OPSS). EllisDon invites eligible companies, firms or joint ventures to submit qualifications in providing Wet and Dry Services for the OPSS, in the City of Toronto as described in the following. PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Ontario Place Site Services Renewal Project is a replacement and renewal of site services in anticipation of Infrastructure Ontario's ("10") ambition to revitalize Ontario Place which is located Southwest of downtown Toronto on the waterfront of Lake Ontario. The scope includes decommissioning and removal of out-of-date services and installation of new site services which will add both capacity and redundancy to the site. The OPSS project is expected to require a subcontractor to provide wet and dry utilities services (trenching method) as per Contract Documents, in accordance with all federal, provincial & municipal safety and technical standards/regulations, for works including, but not limited to: Scope 1 - Wet Utilities 1.1. Supply and installation of sanitary sewers, watermains and force mains, (temporary and/or permanent as required); 1.2. Connection to existing and/or new services (as required) 1.3. Supply and installation of new sewage pump station 1.4. Refurbishment of existing sewage pump station 1.5. Construction of new manholes 2. Scope 2 - Dry Utilities 2.1. Supply and installation of Hydro, telecommunication and gas lines 2.2. Connection to existing and/or new services (as required) 2.3. Supply and installation of site wide substations 2.4. Supply and installation of multiple pressure release valves 3.Scope 3 - Excavation & shoring 3.1. Required excavation and shoring for site wide trench, pump station, and substations.
