This Contract provides for the replacement of approximately 430 LF of 12-inch corrugated metal stormwater pipe with 12-inch and 18-inch HDPE stormwater pipe in an easement located on the property of 7819 SE 17th Street in Vancouver, WA and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 60 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities. All project-specific questions, requests for clarification, and requests for substitutions must be submitted in writing, via email, by Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 5:00 pm to Julie.Denton@cityofvancouver.us. If required, an addendum will be prepared and issued by the City of Vancouver no later than Tuesday, October 31, 2023
