The project scope is as follows; Utilize the May 2017 Version of the KDOT Local Projects - Low Cost Bridge Design Standards for the SBMS-50 Span 24'-6" Width - with Corrugated Metal Deck or county pre-bid approved equivalent specification, Structure shall have one 30 degree skew wing wall and three 45 degree skew wing walls, 12'-9" minimum length at all four corners of the structure, selected bidder must facilitate and complete application for all necessary storm water permits that are required for construction of the designed bridge structure, construction materials for a single simple span steel bridge structure that is 50 feet long, the bid must specify what materials are included in the materials pricing including steel beam and sheet pile quantities, existing bridge removal, and new bridge construction grading and structure installation. All construction activities must be completed by December 30, 2024. Additional assistance is available from Leavenworth County Public Works to clarify the intent of the above noted scope.
