Roberto Alonso Community Center HVAC Replacement The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking proposals from a licensed and insured contractor for the replacement of one (1) of the HVAC infrastructures which currently includes two (2) separate units at the Miami Lakes Roberto Alonso Community Center. The system includes: one (1) system for the center's meeting rooms. All proposals will provide a "turn-key" solution and must include all costs, labor, machinery, tools, means of transportation, supplies, equipment, materials, services, and permitting to be considered a valid proposal. The current HVAC system is 15 tons Trane split unit. This unit is to be replaced with a similar or recommended unit. Any questions concerning the substance of this, or any other solicitation advertised by the Town must be submitted in writing to procurement@miamilakes-fl.gov while the Cone of Silence is in effect. No other communications, oral or otherwise, will be accepted. The Contractor shall obtain Substantial Completion of the Work within thirty (120) Days of the Notice to Proceed being issued by the Town. Contractor must obtain Final Completion within seven (10) Days after obtaining Substantial Completion. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: - Conduct pre-construction walk-through to inspect and verify current unit and check measurements prior to purchasing unit. - Removal and disposal of existing HVAC system. - Installation of new HVAC system. - Match existing curb / modify as needed. - Permit fees associated with above-mentioned work. - Hook-up to existing duct-mounted smoke detectors. - Hoisting of above-mentioned equipment. - Startup of A/C equipment mentioned above. - Connection to existing HVAC control system. - Install all necessary wiring. - Any and all plumbing as-needed to remove or install new unit. - Include manufacturer's warranty as well as other warranty in accordance with the contract.
