As of January 9, 2024, there will be no award for this project. This project will not be re-bidding as bids came in over budget. The Town of Stratford on behalf of Catholic Charities of Fairfield County (Owner) is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors with proven industry experience, to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all else necessary, to perform demolition of existing and furnish and installation of new EPDM roof system, including architectural shingles above porch and windows. Attention is called to the fact that this program is being funded through the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program and, as such, not less than the minimum salaries and wages, as set forth in the Bid Documents, must be paid on this project. Submissions are to be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked BID #2024-13 on the outside of the envelope, including all outer packaging, such as, DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc. Owner reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of work, as deemed in its best interest.
