Tank Rehabilitation: -Repair of roof rafters and other misc metal repairs. See Tank Inspcection details and Bid Proposal in Bidding docs, for specifics. -Interior Painting -Exterior Painting all questions should come to Purchasing@rowlett.com. All qualified bidders will receive considerations for employment without regard for race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the surface preparation, cleaning, priming, and coating of the Rowlett Road Pump Station 3.0 MG Potable Water Steel Ground Storage Tank. This includes but is not limited to the following work elements: 1. Removal and replacement of tank exterior coating including complete surface preparation and containment system. 2. Removal and replacement of coating on exposed, aboveground piping, valves and associated appurtenances in direct contact with the 3.0 MG tank. 3. Removal and replacement of tank interior coating including complete surface preparation. 4. Apply additional coating or approved material per Coating Manufacturer recommendation for the low areas on the exterior roof. 5. Tank structural repairs and miscellaneous repairs shall be completed as shown on the Drawings or as specified elsewhere in the Contract Documents. See Drawings for details of structural and miscellaneous tank repairs. All structural repairs and miscellaneous tank repairs performed as described in the contract documents shall be inspected, by the Engineer and/or certified welding inspector (CWI) where applicable, after surface blasting and prior to coating. 7. All of the existing safety climb devices, stainless steel structural components and grating shall not be painted, and they shall be protected from over spray spills, and splatters at all time during paint application. 8. All miscellaneous items attached to the tank, such as ladders, hatches, vents, landings, and their supports, shall be painted, unless noted otherwise.
