In general, this project will consist of the replacement of the existing roof with a new modified bitumen 2-ply hot asphalt roof with silver surfacing at the Engineering Annex building in Pueblo, Colorado, as detailed in the plans and specifications for this project. Any inquiries regarding seeming inconsistencies between the Plans and Specifications for this project must be made by Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 4:00 pm (MT). Failure to complete the work by the allotted 212 calendar days shall result in the assessing of liquidated damages. The current value of Public Works Engineering Annex located at 1974, Pueblo, CO 81003, is $275,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the grand total bid, plus all alternates if applicable, payable to the City of Pueblo as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within ten (10) days from the date of the Notice of Award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or all items covered in the Invitation for Bid, to waive informalities or defects in bids, or to accept such bids as it shall deem to be in its best interest.
