Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Vacant and Occupied Apartment Units Rehabilitation Program and General Construction at Various Locations Throughout Newark Housing Authority The Newark Housing Authority is accepting sealed bids to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for vacant and occupied apartment units to be rehabilitated to safe and sanitary condition, ready for occupancy via an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) procurement. The contract term shall be for two (2) years with an option to extend for one (1) additional year terms. Interested firms must have at least three (3) years' experience with renovations of apartment units, and will have the capacity to perform the full spectrum of apartment turnover work including but not limited to: general construction, painting, carpentry, cleaning, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical, etc. Failure to submit a 5% Bid Guarantee for the full amount of the bid shall render the bid non-responsive. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract as awarded. The surety company for all bonds must be a guaranty or surety company acceptable to the U.S. Department of Treasury All questions and requests for information must be submitted through the Bid Sync system. The deadline for posting questions and requests about this IFB is Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The Housing Authority of the City of Newark reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the Bidding. The N.H.A. also reserves the right to award all or a portion of the award to one (1) or more responsible responsive Bidders
