OPWDD's Capital District DDSO intends to procure A/C System Upgrade (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law 163(6). Contractors are encouraged to ask questions regarding the specifications of this project at the site visit. The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification regarding the enclosed Project Scope. Prevailing Wages and Certified Payroll: NYS Labor Law requires that all contracted employees preforming maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. If this is a public work contract covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law or building service contract covered by Article 9 thereof, neither Contractor's employees nor employees of its subcontractors may be required or permitted to work more than the number of hours or days stated in said statutes, except as otherwise provided in the Labor Law as set forth in prevailing wage and supplement schedules issued by the State Labor Department. Certified payroll record MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing.
