DPS is requesting bids for the Conroe Office A Building Upgrade and Exterior Doors. All work must be completed prior to 04/30/2024. By submitting bid, Bidder affirms that all work will be completed by this deadline. Question Deadline 10/25/2023 at 5:00 PM CT DPS may: 1. reject any or all Bids if such action is in the public interest; 2. accept other than the lowest priced Bid; and 3. waive minor informalities and minor irregularities in Bids received This section outlines the scope of work included in the project. Refer to the appropriate drawings and specification sections for further information about installation, preparation methods and components to be provided. The contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this portion of the project. The Contract Documents, otherwise referred to as drawings, shall serve as a part of this scope of work showing more detail on the intent of this project. The Contractor is responsible for including all means and methods necessary to complete this project. In general, the work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Replace existing storefront frame and glass at main entry and side entry (2 total), with panic bar and locking entry. Elevation to match existing. See photos. 2. Provide push button on side entry storefront. Push button to match existing on CID entry. See photos. 3. Re-install existing signage on new storefronts. 4. Install 2 owner provided missing lettering on exterior building signage 5. Provide and install one missing letter to match existing on exterior building signage. 6. Replace existing carpet with LVT flooring as shown by red boarder on floor plan - approximately 2,300 sf. 7. Move furniture within building as needed for flooring. DPS will disconnect electrical and data before move. 8. Provide 100 sf of LVT for attic stock. 9. Replace restroom plumbing fixtures and deep clean restrooms. 10. Replace existing laminate restroom counters to match existing (2 total). Laminate color to be selected before construction. 11. Remove caulking from 2 windows at break room due to leaking and replace rubber seals. 12. Remove vinyl wall covering from 3 walls at breakroom. Prep and paint drywall. 13. Paint walls shown on drawing, hallway and open areas side of walls only. 14. Replace (30) 2 x4 stained or damaged acoustic ceiling tiles in building. 15. Replace splash blocks (6 total) 16. Replace (3) 2X4 lights with 2X4 LEDs in building. Location to be determined before constructions. 17. Wipe down (2) 3'x7' and (1) 6'x7' exterior hollow metal doors. 18. Replace construction filters. 19. Provide a minimum one (1) year Warranty on all installation work. 20. Provide turnkey project as required for complete project.
