Electrical/Gas Improvements College Street Complex The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The following procedures shall be followed: A. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened; B. Copies of bidding documents must be obtained from Miller-Newell Engineers, Inc., P.O. Box 705, 510 Third Street, Newport, AR 72112. Each set of bidding documents will be $25.00. The deposit will be refundable to each bidder who returns the bidding documents in god condition within ten (10) days of bid opening. Any non-bidders will not receive a refund of the deposit. C. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the PHA, submitted in duplicate and submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked to show the name and address of the bidder, contract job number, date and time of bid opening; D. Bidders are required to have an Arkansas Contractor s License when the cost of the work to be done by the Contractor including, but not limited to, labor and materials, is $20,000.00 or more, this is in accordance with Arkansas Code Annotated 17-22-101, et. seq.; E. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (section 3). The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, separately or in their entirety; to accept or reject any Bid by line item; to waive any informalities in the bidding; to consider and award Bids in a manner that will be in the best interest and most advantageous to the PHA, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder or bidders, as appropriate, whose bid or bids, as appropriate, conforms or conform, as appropriate, with all the material terms and conditions of the Invitation for Bids.
