The work generally consists of construction of a consolidation conduit, new outfall pipe, and associated structures and appurtenances at the site in Pawtucket, RI. Work includes mechanical, electrical, structural, and HVAC/plumbing fitout of the Pawtucket Tunnel Dewatering Pump Station which consists of a new screening facility, new pump station, OF-218 gate and screening facilities, and tunnel odor control to support the functionality of the Pawtucket Tunnel to serve as a Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) storage facility. It also includes site work and final site restoration. The Bidder's attention is called to the Equal Opportunity Clause and the Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications set forth herein. This project is subject to Chapter 37-14.1 of the Rhode Island General Laws and regulations promulgated there under, which require that fifteen percent (15%) of the dollar value of work performed on the project be performed by minority and/or women's business enterprises. The successful Bidder will be required to provide the maximum practicable opportunity to small and minority business enterprises to participate in this Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality and/or to reject any or all bids.
