Install fence at Lower Saint Anthony Falls Lock and Dam. The estimated magnitude of construction is under $25,000 Questions - All questions concerning the solicitation document shall be submitted via email to Theodore.R.Hecht@usace.army.mil. Answers to questions will be provided to all quoters being solicited though an amendment, giving due regard to the proper protection of proprietary information. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1(b); payment protection is required for any resultant contract greater than $35,000. If contract award is for, under $35,000, no payment protection is required. Should the contract award exceed $150,000, performance and payment bonds are required. Project Description The work includes the removal of vegetation in the work area, the installation of approximately 40 ft of 8ft tall high security perimeter fence connecting the USACE perimeter fence to the nearby city of Minneapolis fence (see Appendix B for pictures) as well as any necessary incidental related work. The fence will consist of a top rail, bottom tension wire,7ft tall fabric, and 1ft tall outriggers with 3-strand barbed Location The work is located at Lower St Anthony Falls Lock and Dam, Minneapolis, MN. Refer to Appendix A for location of fence installation. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer. Potential bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to placing bids to ensure they understand the existing site conditions and the potential challenges associated with completing contract work. Pre-site visits shall be coordinated through the Lower St Anthony Falls Lockmaster, Richard Weitzel, at 651-290-5928.
