North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission ("NVRC") of its intent to solicit bids directly from Cimco Refrigeration and Fraser Valley Refrigeration Ltd. to upgrade the arena refrigeration plant condenser and dehumidifier. The Scope of Work entails extracting 300 lbs of ammonia gas, replacing the evaporative condenser with a plate and frame heat exchanger, installing a glycol cooler and pump system, replacing the dehumidifier, recharging the arena refrigeration system with ammonia gas, and commissioning the arena refrigeration plant. Due to system complexity, the refrigeration consultant has only recommended Cimco Refrigeration and Fraser Valley Refrigeration Ltd. to bid on this project.
